Defensive Tackles

dtrajilittleuparrow41.  BJ Raji, BC, 6014 337 (1) — NFL Comparison:  Vince Wilfork (NE)

Strengths: Massive player who can clog the middle…very strong…very low center of gravity and is nearly impossible to push back…understands how to effectively fill his gap…shows surprising quickness for his bulk…is disruptive and has a knack for getting into the backfield

Weaknesses: Character…was declared academically ineligible before his first senior year in 2007…needs to prove that his work ethic won’t be a problem…has to watch his weight

dtjerry2.  Peria Jerry, Ole Miss, 6017 299 (1) — NFL Comparison:  Amobi Okoye (HOU)

Strengths: Is a dual-threat defensive tackle…holds up well against the run, while being quick enough to pressure the passer…has a good low base…very strong player who holds up well at the point of attack…has versatility and has played inside and outside at Ole Miss

Weaknesses: Durability…has had knee surgery and must prove that he is completely healthy…is strong enough but could bulk up…smaller size could get him pushed around at the next level

  2. I think that Jarron Gilbert is a total sleeper. He’s just a tremendous physical talent with all the tools to maybe become a premier DT in the league in 5 years.
